Yvonne is a handmade, eco-friendly, organic tie and bowtie brand made in the United States.
Our philosophy is to provide fashionable products for today's sophisticated and environmentally aware gentleman. Our focus is to create stylish and environmentally friendly clothing that looks and feels great while helping to reduce our impact on the planet.
After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City in 2011 and having my design featured in its graduating exhibition, I attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2013. A textile professor at the university mentioned that Levi’s created a pair of denim pants called an 8 Gallon Jean. I asked why, and the professor replied, “It takes 8 gallons of water to make one pair of jeans.” I was appalled; 8 gallons of water is an enormous amount, but further research revealed that it usually takes up to 1,800 gallons to make one pair of denim jeans and 714 gallons of water to make 1 T-shirt. I then realized something could and should be done to change this.
As a child growing up in Saint Catherine, Jamaica, the only way we sourced water was through catching rainwater from the side of the house in a plastic shipping barrel while it was raining or walking miles to get water in empty buckets.
Organic cotton is grown with traditional practices that smallscale farmers have used for centuries. The Soil Association has reported that organic cotton can be produced using 91% less water than its non-organic predecessor. With the substantial additional costs of growing food crops in arid conditions, eliminating irrigation dramatically benefits the environment in helping the world adapt to climate change.
My vision is to make Yvonne a brand that is both stylish and environmentally responsible, as well as to create awareness of how life is different in other parts of the world.

Our boxes are not just 100% recycled, they are made from 95% post-consumer content / post-industrial content and are manufactured right here in the United States.

Tissue Paper
Our Tissue Paper is a 100% Recycled alternative to putting our products in plastic wrapping to ship to you. The tissue paper is made entirely from post-consumer / post-industrial content, is recyclable, and is naturally biodegradable.
